After graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, she worked for Dior and Mary Katrantzou. Sabinna has recently also completed her Postgraduate degree in Sustainable Business at the University Of Cambridge, receiving a bursary to complete her studies.
As a child, she learned traditional Tatar handcraft from her grandmother, developing a deeply ingrained appreciation for the craft. This early influence was a key inspiration for her namesake brand SABINNA. As an immigrant (born in Central Asia and raised in Europe) Sabinna is passionate about inclusivity and equal opportunities.
In addition to her work as a founder, Sabinna is a consultant with a focus on fashion start-ups and universities across Europe and the UK. Since 2018, she has lectured at the University of Arts London, focusing on sustainable business concepts to encourage her students to disrupt the industry. In 2019, Sabinna was named Forbes 30under30 DACH and in 2022 as Drapers Ones To Watch for her achievements as an entrepreneur in the fashion industry. Sabinna is fluent in German, English and Russian.
